Director of Digital Marketing – Miami, FL

Job description

The Director of Digital Marketing will oversee the day-to-day activities of the accounts team and digital advertising campaigns. This role is responsible for ensuring that the department is managed and performing efficiently and effectively. This role will also be responsible for the development of the advertising campaigns and their execution, including the management of the customer relationship, development of creative, and the coordination of all aspects of the advertising campaign.

This is a hybrid position with work from home on Thursdays and Fridays.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Training of the staff
  • Oversee weekly internal team meetings
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Weekly 1 on 1 meetings with staff
  • Ensuring that tasks are delegated and executed in a timely manner across the department

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Improves customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • May maintain some public affairs digital client work
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Develop and manage all advertising campaigns for Harris Media LLC.
  • Develop creative strategies that align with business goals.
  • Develop creative ideas that are innovative, engaging, and relevant to our customers.
  • Monitor performance of all digital ad campaigns.
  • Manage all creative assets across our platform.
  • Ensure that all ads are compliant with brand guidelines, ad copy, and design specifications.
  • Ensure that all ads are delivered on time to our customers on a monthly basis.
  • Manage performance monitoring across all campaigns.
  • Manage performance monitoring across all channels (Facebook, Instagram, Google AdWords, etc.)and ensure they are performing as planned.
  • Assist in developing new ad formats to further growth within the platform.
  • Assists with other marketing functions as needed by management or department head(s).

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

This is a full-time position based out of Miami, FL and salary will be dependent on experience. The company currently operates on a hybrid schedule of M-W in the office and Thursday-Friday work from home. The company also offers quality health, dental, and vision insurance options.
